1997 NAS D90 SW #583
I had to have this truck! Since my “73 SIII “Project” never made it to completion, I waited till I could persuade my budget (and wife!) to do it ! The 90 does triple duty; 1st it’s my off-road beast! 2nd, it’s my daily driver, always loaded with equipment and getting me to the next shoot. 3rd, it’s affectionally known in town as 5A3, our 3rd & off road ambulance!
Mods:
- Supp.& driveline is stock, except for the air locker in the rear
- 255x85x16 BFG MT’s on stock alum. , 265x70x16 BFG AT’s on steel,& ladder chains (for winter)
- Warn M 8000 (3rd truck it’s been in, great unit!)
- Southdown front axle/steering skid plate(well worn !)
- RN”s Sill protectors (also well worn !)
- Uniden CB, AM-SSB radio
- Garmin GPSII+ W/compass & Lots of topo maps
- Hi-lift, straps,chains, shackles, pulley block, shovel, fire ext....Etc.
- Emergency response stuff: Jump Kit, 60w VHF/Hi radio, 5wUHF port. radio, Whelen 200w siren, (4) 150w/s strobe response lights, wig-wag hi-beams.
